The Advanced BPM Process Design using TIBCO Business Studio training course is aimed at developers who are already proficient in the development and deployment of simple process models using TIBCO Business Studio and TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM. Hands-on labs explore advanced concepts, including the purpose, benefits and usage of dynamic sub-processes. Correlating external data with an existing BPM process instance is discussed and implemented. Usage of standard and multi-instance loops as defined in BPMN is also examined and specific examples are built using TIBCO Business Studio. Finally, complex BPMN patterns such as synchronized multi-choice processing and complex gateways are explored and related scenarios are created for testing. Throughout the course, the BPM applications are deployed to a TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM server and tested using the Openspace client. Pre-built organization models and business object models are imported and used in the labs.
By attending Advanced BPM Process Design using TIBCO Business Studio workshop, delegates will learn to:
- Create dynamic organization for repeating organization model pattern
- Examine techniques for automatically assigning BPM resources to org model entities
- Use case data to store global business data
- Implement runtime decision making for calling sub-processes
- Examine patterns for implementing iterative tasks
- Identify techniques for matching external message data with process instances
- Explore configuration of complex BPMN patterns using TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM
