This FactoryFLOW training course provides skills to analyze factory layouts by using part routing information, material handling equipment specifications, and part packing (containerization) information. You will learn to evaluate and optimize layouts based on material flow distances, move frequency, and cost. You will rapidly evaluate alternative factory layouts by numerically and graphically comparing alternatives based on material flow. You will learn to gather the correct data, set up the FactoryFLOW data files, prepare the factory layout drawing for analysis, perform calculations, and interpret results.
