This DMAP Programming training course covers the NX Nastran Direct Matrix Abstraction Program (DMAP) language. You will learn to write your own DMAP extensions to enhance the capabilities of NX Nastran. DMAP can be used to enhance the functionality of NX Nastran including computation of different responses, the transfer of non-standard data to and from NX Nastran or to incorporate other user-developed algorithms.
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis with Femap for Pre/Post.
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis with Simcenter Pre/Post.
- Basic understanding of finite element analysis principles, statics, solid mechanics, and basic dynamics.
- Basic linear algebra including matrix operations, eigenvalue solutions, etc
