This Tripwire Enterprise training course is suitable for those who will be the primary administrators of Tripwire Enterprise as well as users responsible for information security, change management and regulatory compliance. The first two days are devoted to giving you a solid foundation of understanding upon which more complicated tasks may be built later.
Days three, four, and five are devoted to the Advanced Track. This track will provide with experience in administration, security, and compliance tasks and tools for Tripwire Enterprise.
By attending Tripwire Enterprise workshop, delegates will learn:
- Understanding Tripwire Enterprise functionality
- Familiarization with the Tripwire Enterprise console interface
- Deploying the Tripwire Enterprise and Axon agents on nodes to be monitored
- Creating agentless nodes (Network Device, Database, Directory Server) in the console
- Using the Asset View to categorize nodes and develop Smart Node Group hierarchies
- Baselining nodes to capture information for monitoring and compliance
- Understanding how to find changed objects and what changes look like for various kinds of node objects
- Creating Reports to examine data gathered
- Entry-level understanding of Active Directory, network devices and database structures
- Understanding of enterprise software concepts and agent-server architectures
- Ability to work with Windows and Linux objects, both in GUI and command-line interfaces
