This Check Point IPS training course provides advanced knowledge of the configuration and management of the Check Point Intrusion Prevention System. In addition to the theory, you will use numerous practical exercises to learn how to set up and monitor profiles, how the monitoring of attacks on your network works and how you can fend off these attacks with the Check Point IPS. With the knowledge gained in the course, you will be able to choose and set up the right security measures for your network.
By attending Check Point IPS workshop, delegates will:
- Learn the skills required to configure and manage the IPS software blade. You will create, modify and monitor a threat prevention profile. You will also monitor attacks, view statistics, adapt the security configuration to your needs and learn basic troubleshooting techniques.
- General knowledge of TCP / IP, very good knowledge of the Windows or Linux operating system and very good network knowledge.
- At least six months of experience working in a Check Point Security Gateway environment.
- Basic knowledge of using VMware workstations.
