Weibull is a statistical method for analyzing small datasets in order to predict component reliability. The goal of this course is to gain the ability to use Weibull Analysis and System Modeling to improve system reliability. This Weibull Analysis training course, provides knowledge of Weibull analysis, starting with the basics of performing a Weibull analysis and interpretation of the results. The course progresses through more complex applications of Weibull as well as other distributions.
By attending Weibull Analysis workshop, delegates will learn to:
- Determine whether or not the available data is appropriate for a Weibull solution
- Discuss the background and explain the benefits of Weibull solution methods
- Create, interpret and evaluate the correctness of a Weibull plot
- Distinguish between an infant mortality failure issue and a wearout failure issue
- Forecast events under different maintenance strategies
- Determine pass/fail criteria in designing a test program
- Engineers responsible for reliability, safety, supportability, maintainability, materials, warranty, life cycle cost, design, structures, instrumentation, and logistics will find these Weibull Analysis class extremely useful.
