The Design and Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (DPFMEA) training course provides a detailed understanding of the process of conducting system design, redesign, process, service, and machine FMEAs. In this course, delegates will understand what FMEA is, the different types of FMEA, how to construct an DFMEA and PFMEA, and the linkages between DFMEA and PFMEA and other tools such as ISO 9001 standard the Six Sigma approach. DPFMEA is one of the automotive core tools of IATF 16949:2016 and is also a key element of Six Sigma Program.
By attending Design and Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (DPFMEA) workshop, delegates will learn:
- Concepts and application of FMEA (Design and Process)
- To recognise and evaluate the potential failure modes and causes associated with a design or process
- To identify actions which could eliminate or reduce the chance of a potential failure occurring
- To document the potential failure modes and effects analysis process
- This Design and Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (DPFMEA) class is intended for Quality Engineers, Process Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers.
