In CA Process Automation - Designer training course, you will learn to create and test new processes using objects from the automation library, which consists of several hundred automation objects. The course also shows you how you can use the graphical UI or scripts to automate new processes and how you can import existing legacy automation scripts into the version-controlled library and reuse them to help speed development. This course spans the various elements of the process development phases. You will implement datasets and expressions, design basic and advanced processes, and implement forms and web services.
By attending CA Process Automation - Designer workshop, delegates will learn to:
- Improve productivity while enforcing standards across departments by defining, automating, and orchestrating processes across systems
- Gain insight into best practices for the various phases and steps involved in automating IT processes
- Explore the key features of the UI that you will use to design, develop, and deploy your automated processes
- Implement key elements of process design, such as datasets and expressions
- Gain a deeper understanding of basic process development procedures and use that solid foundation to build additional layers of complexity
- Design forms at strategic points in your process to enable users to provide input and control the process
- Implement web services operators, which support calls to remote services using Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) or Extensible Markup Language (XML)
- Familiarity with scripting or equivalent required
- Understanding of web services concepts desirable but not required
- Basic understanding of JavaScript desirable but not required
- Application Developers
- IT Architects
